Screen shots of Instant messenger for SAP

Please find below a number of screen shots detailing what the SAP instant messenger application looks like and how to use it. Below is the initial screen that will be displayed, allowing you to see online users and current conversation.

One thing you can do initially is change your display name, this is via the user options button in the top left hand corner. You will then be shown the following screen. Here you can change you display name and specify where you would like your conversation files to be stored.

This is an example of what is expected to be entered into these fields.

The screen of user 'TEST1' now looks as follows, with there SAP user name being replaced by the entry enter in the name field (Bob)

You will notice that there are no users displayed with the 'user list'. This is because the friends list is displayed by default so you will need to add some friends to this list by choosing the display all online users option from the user dropdown. You can then add users to your friends list by right clicking on there name. Once you have done this your screen will look something like this:

Or if one of your friends has changed their display name your list of users will be updated automatically when your start a conversation.

Now if user2 'Fred' sends an instant message to user1 (Bob) saying 'Hello', both users conversation windows will be automatically updated.

Now user2(Bob) reply's. and again the conversation windows will be automatically updated
