Netweaver - Information about SAP netweaver technologies
NetWeaver is SAP's platform for implementing web services on to existing SAP systems. NetWeaver is essentially
a re-branding of already existing and new technologies which include:
• The enterprise portal
• Business intelligence and master data management (MDM).
The basic idea of MDM is to solve data synchronisation problems across all company systems by providing a single source for key corporate data such as customer records, bill of materials etc.
• Exchange infrastructure
• Web application server (WAS/BSP's)
• Composite applications framework.
